Multiple fire & rescue crews were called out to Rt. 19 and Patricia Drive in Vernon Twp at about 8 this morning for a one vehicle crash. A male driver was pinned in the vehicle for about 30 minutes while firefighters from Vernon Central and Conneaut Lake VFDs extricated him. The victim was taken to Meadville Medical Center in serious condition. Reports from the scene indicate the driver was partially ejected from the vehicle in the crash. It's reported the driver fell asleep and his truck hit a tree.
